PROJECT LEARNING TREE
Project Learning Tree is the environmental education program of the American Forest Foundation and is offered in partnership in Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Educators and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
Project Learning Tree (PLT) is an award-winning environmental education program designed for educators working with students from pre-kindergarten to twelfth grade. |
Through hands-on, interdisciplinary activities, PLT helps young people learn how to think - not what to think - about complex environmental issues. PLT can help address state and national standards. It provides the tools educators need to bring the environment into their classrooms and the students into the environment.
