SUBMIT A WORKSHOP PROPOSAL
The 2019 PAEE Conference Committee invites proposals for interactive workshops and presentations at the upcoming 2019 PAEE Conference on Monday, March 18th & Tuesday, March 19th in Philadelphia.
Each year our membership delivers high-quality workshops that give attendees experiences to take back and apply to their practices, programming, facilities, partnerships and staff. Presentations and workshops should be interactive, engaging and fun, applying best practices in environmental education and interpretation. |
Presentation sessions are limited to 75 minutes in length and we welcome interactive workshops, multi-speaker presentations, round tables and/or panels. If you or your organization has a proven EE success that you can quickly showcase within 15 minutes, consider submitting a proposal for a lightning talk. In this new format, the audience will hear about a topic from three presenters, each speaking for only 15 minutes. The Conference Committee will handle the groupings for the lightning talk format.
The theme of this year’s conference – Cityscapes & Greenscapes – highlights how environmental education intersects and/or spans varied landscapes, urban, suburban, rural and green spaces in between. Over the years, the environmental education space has grown from just "greenscapes," to now becoming a foundation for outdoor recreation, conservation initiatives, "green" city planning, STEM education and more.
