The Tides are Changing: Project WET Update & Training
Monday, March 10 from 1:00-4:00 PM
Cost - $50
Attention all PA Project WET Educators and Facilitators, PAEE will be holding an update training along with this year’s annual conference. The blue Project WET 2.0 guides are no longer being printed. We’ll cover the changes to the new module-based Project WET structure, the Foundations of Water Education guide, and the new online Water Education Learning Library (WELL) platform. This workshop is highly recommended for WET Educators, and extremely important for WET Facilitators to stay up to date on the offerings and direction of Project WET. All participants will receive the first of the new module guides and an update certificate.
New to Project WET (Water Education Today), we’d still love to have you attend. The cornerstone of Project WET is its methodology of teaching about water resources through hands-on, investigative, easy-to-use activities. This workshop will act as an introduction course for you, and you will receive a lesson sampler covering more than just the first module guide and access to additional online resources. Please note, if you are a DCNR staff member and were trained by Carissa Longo, you do not need to attend this course but are certainly welcome to.
In addition, all participants will receive a one-year digital subscription to the WELL, lesson materials, and 4 Act 48 hours will be available.
